The MCU of the DEMO is newly designed by TI, and is special for electronic formula flow rate and whirling motion test. The demo integrated the ultra-low consumption MCU, rotary Scan IF and LCD driver module together perfectly. Owning to its ultra-low consumption architecture and flow test module, the battery keeps longer life and the meters offer higher accuracy and performance especially in case of low water discharge. With the wide applying of MSP430 family MCU, more and more engineers and electron fans trend to develop products with it. However, as the QFP package and chip pins are too close, it's hard to weld during developing and wrong welding will cause chips break.
64 pin DIP Board and 100 pin DIP Board from MSP430 are designed for users to conveniently develop products or study with MSP430 MCUs. Both boards support MSP430F13X/ 14X /16X /41X/ X42X/ 44X MCUs, the original S-PQFP-G64 or S-PqFP-G100 mode can be changed to DIP mode without welding and the DIP Board can be dip directly iiannto user board.. The convenient character of the DIP Board in using is very helpful for those who apply MSP430 series, such as engineers engaged in developing products , students in college and other MCU designers.
