The evaluation board is designed for the popular solutions of single-phase E-meter in present market. Employed ESP module of MSP430FE427 and SD16 functional module, the single-phase E-meter can be freely realized on 1 piece of MSP430FE427 MCU, and the accuracy can be up to 0.3% or even higher than 0.3%. ESP module of MSP430FE427 can implement the calculation of wattful power, wattless power, phase, voltage and currency automatically and effectively.

The evaluation board has employed the MSP430F169 CPU and is designed especially for the new functions of 169 CPU. Besides the common functions of 430, the board also can realize 12-bit D/A conversion, DMA channel and IIC hardware communication.
Projects about industry control can be easily realized, such as measuring system and digital processing system (A/D, D/A), and TEC control also can be applied , as well as digit electric motor control, handheld meters.
